  1. Still fighting with GH5 colors and dynamic range..... Cinelike D is for me ,very yellow, slightly green and not real skin tone Today I found a pretty promising setting, You definitely try.. --- Highlight/Shadow -1/0 Master Pedestal +5 i.dynamic - standard i.resolution - OFF Luminance level 16-235 Photo style: NATURAL 0,-5,-5,-2,0 And important - AWB adjust. A:6 !!! ----
  2. GH5 saves slow-motion shots to 1080/50p, and my project is 1080/25p, so 50p slow motion shots slow down to 50% and no twixtor is needed
  3. I do not buy a V-log ,unfortunately
  4. I have G80,GX80 and GH5 , and there is not much difference in the dynamic range, so 1, -1.5 stop . I do not consider it so important But GH5 has a much better fullHD video !! That difference is huge, and that's important to me
  5. GH5 360fps :-) The project is 25p and the shots GH5 are 180fps/50p slowed to 50%
  6. Pan GX80 + Pan 42,5 mm 1.7 WB - auto Portrait -1,-5,-5,-3 i.dynamic - auto sh/li - 0/0 Skintone is perfect for me, Printscreen Video RAW without adjustments directly from the camera , 1080/50p , It's a surprise for me
  7. I have Metabone speedbooster Nikon, and 15 mm works great for me
  8. really sorry, if you setting manually WB, it's better, the problem persists, it only alleviated. You go in GX80 + 20mm 1.7 unreally purple lips is big problem on LX100. You can fix it heavy postproduction.
  9. LX100 was the worst ! :-( purple spots on the face and lips dark purple. After a month I had to sell useless for portraits. I bought GX80
  10. Yes Setting 709L 0,-5,-5,-5,0 pedestal +5 , knee auto still amazes me quality GH5 in 1080p (50p100M) great improvement from GH4
  11. Sorry for my bad english, Do not overexpose skin tone 90% zebra ,on Panasonic camera
  12. Yes, if you overexpose skin tone 90% zebra, panasonic becomes waxy orange yellow. And also, I do not like Panasonic lenses, too much contrast, strange colors. But GH5 is a big improvement , profile 709L he is amazing. + Sigma "A" lenses :-)
  13. Test Panasonic LUMIX GH5 180fps Profile 709L , ISO 800 , cloudy (low light) Sigma 18-35, handheld
  14. V-LOG I'm not used to gh4 ,colors were wrong Dynamic range 709L It is fine for me, no Arri it's not :-) , but it is completely sufficient for me. Colors in 709L are awesome for LUT use in post. 709L (0, -5,-5,-5,0) (pedestal +5) The first tests I would say that, dynamic range 709L is bigger than my gh4 or G80. 1080p is much better than the G80, GX80, or GH4 , 1080p /100mb/50p on GH5 has a similar quality to 4K GH4, incredible, love it
  15. GH5 is home :-) Color profile 709 is what I was looking for all my life :-) Skin color is perfect, thank you Panasonic!
  16. YES , record on card internal, + together clean HDMI output Record on BM Assist monitor
  17. My knowledge is , any setting Highlight to negative , destroying the skin tones !! ,and + shadows, increasing the amount of noise. iDynamic set to high, doing nothing negative skin tone. My previous Sony cameras behaved completely differently. Panasonic needs slight underexposure, overexpose also destroys skin tone.
  18. yes, this is exactly the wrong settings, high -3 (without iDynamic) with the adjusted contrast -5 !! and very inconvenient LED lighting the room with a narrow light spectrum radiation then everyone look as waxy :-) -------- This printscreen 1080p is setting: natural +1,-5,-5,-2 , iDynamic standard ,WB auto ISO 1600 skin tone is perfect
  19. My current setup for the perfect dynamic range , profile natural +1, -5 , -5 , -2(-3) light shadows 0/0 !!! - Any other setting is causing the poor skin tone ! and what is important is i.Dynamic, does nothing to skin tone, I set i.Dynamic standard or high. This is the best setting for me, at the G80, GH4 and LX100
  20. My favorite setting, at the same GH4 G80 and LX100 is a natural 0,-5,-5,-2 max(-4) shadows +2(+4) / highlight 0 highlight do not go into minus, skintone will be unnatural !
  21. This is my first work with G80... (Sigma 18-35 , Tokina 11-16 ) (bit rate is only 8000kbs , limit Vimeo free is 500MB , sorry :-)
