  1. Yes , Micro has a little cleaner sharpen picture and realistic colors against BMPCC. But it's not a big difference. But every time I shoot one camera, I take Micro ?
  2. I have it the same way.... dust on GH5 ?
  3. I don't know a better combo for a wedding like GH5 + Sigma 18-35 , it is very convenient and quick to use thanks to built-in stabilization it is irreplaceable for such work ! The battery lasts over two hours. Articulated display, excellent sound, decent colors and dynamic range and much more... look at my wedding videos, all with GH5 + Sigma 18-35 and Tokina 11-16 and B cam GX80 + 42.5mm f1.7 The low light level is an overrated mantra, I'm angry about that! GH5 + Sigma 18-35 It will give you an aperture f1.2 In combination with the ISO 1600-3200, Nothing he can't shoot! GH5 is still fully usable at ISO 3200.
  4. Yes, BMPCC and BMMCC was very often used as a B cam and crash camera, as a supplement to Alexa mainly for a similar picture, And They are small to fit everywhere ? on the net, I did not find any example of Canon Magic latern RAW which I would like more than the BMPCC image. Yes there is a ton of garbage from both cameras but what is shining is always BMCC, BMPCC or BMMCC I do not think so, I have GH5 + 18-35 more than two years. And the colors and Look of the orig.BMPCC and BMMCC are somewhere else! I have BMMCC and BMPCC for half a year and it's beautiful, I've been looking for in the last 100 cameras! p.s. I always take GH5 for a wedding ? it is more comfortable
  5. And where is the orig. BMPCC? 300USD(used) , 1920x1080 RAW Crop 2,88 ? Proress HQ,422,LT,Proxy. Orig. BMPCC should be in the top of your list. And where is BMMCC 500USD 1920x1080 60p RAW (RAW 3:1) And absolutely great colors. Very easy RAW editing in Resolve.

I'm still surprised by my sigma 18-35, it's the most versatile of all ? close up or wide view.. no problem (BMMCC)
  7. thank you for the link to this person https://vimeo.com/stevenleone he does a great job at orig BMPCC !
  8. I have also BMMCC, and I repeat myself several times, There is no difference between look and color between RAW and Prores!
  9. I have experience as Rob Ellis (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8edgNMjj6M) BMMCC (orig.BMPCC fairchild sensor) colors and looks are amazing for my eyes. Just a simple adjustment of contrast and saturation and it's there! not DNG, just simply ProRes
  10. in older BMs it is not so if it is new BMPCC4K so it is bad. (Colorspace V4) I like old BMs ProresHQ I borrowed it (BMPCC4K) and I didn't see any fundamental difference between DNG and Proores. But I did some tests and I returned her I didn't like a bunch of things. Thank you for your opinions and findings
  11. I dare to disagree with humility, I have absolutely no difference in the image if I shoot Prores or DNG on my BM cameras. The possibility of editing DNG in post is excellent. but the image is still the same!
  12. I see that it has done a lot of work, cut is amazing. But filmed it was what ? Fuji? A7III ? GH5 ? A7SII ? BMPC4C ? I still see the same image I don't like ..sorry. I am still waiting for something from the BMPCC 4K camera that will fascinate me in the picture ... and yet it doesn't come but it should be on time. On the contrary, I find more and more amazing stuff from old BMPCC and BMMCC. (Of course, a lot of waste ). I like your RX100 videos the most! the little beast RX100 is also interesting ... If I traveled like you, I'd rather have a RX100 in my pocket if BMPCC4K + Sigma 18-35 ?
  13. exactly , GH5, Fuji, A7III, BMPCC4K all has - the same look , old fairchild sensor was different ? (see. https://youtu.be/boBbUPUTyPA ) ...
  14. So you didn't understand.... We (old BMPCC user) don't miss this nasty look you created ? If you own a old pocket (Fairchild sensor) , you'll understand.
  15. but on mobile phone Alexa is still beautiful, it really is not a small screen ? I had a P4K loan to make sure it's just not that and it's worse for me than old sensors ? and I don't think I have this opinion myself
  16. Highlight Roll Off P4K is terrible ? (and I'm watching it on my cell phone, no big screen!) the dynamic range is visibly worse than the old BM and it is unnecessarily contrasting in skin tones. I won't sell my old BM! until the Fairchild sensor returns! I haven't liked anything from the new p4k so far, and unfortunately it will remain so. The best thing you can do is buy a BMMCC for a few dollars second hand
  17. I say it a few times, the world doesn't need new cameras, but new stories. Because I recently bought very cheap BMPCC and BMMCC, So my GH5 most of the time, lies unused on the shelf.. What I see on the new BMPCC4K is exactly what I see on GH5, but the colors of the old BM just don't!
  18. here's simple cheap music video: (shooting no more than 2 hours, and edit 2h) BMMCC - Tokina 11-16 , Sigma 18-35 , Vitrox EF.
  19. all atomos recorders have latency from 50-200ms depending on what kind of function is enabled (LUT, wave, etc.) It is easy to measure, turn on the laptop screen stopwatch with miliseconds and HDMI output connect to the Ninja , and take photo your mobile phone both screens simultaneously. my old Ninja 2 has 180ms my blackmagic videoassist has no latency with LUT disable. (immeasurable) Video assist 5" with LUT enable has 60-70ms latency Notebook hdmi out has minimal latency (1-2ms) for gh5 it was no matter what I turned on, it was always 140-170ms! BMMCC has 80ms Sony Z150 - SDI out has 50ms using a higher frame rate (50p) is output latency mostly by half. (I use on live big screen show 50p only)
  20. GH5 has 150-170ms ? Atomos has 150ms.... together more than 300ms !
  21. I recommend buying an old BMPCC for a few dollars and learn shooting and coloring. I've had GH5 for over two years, and I bought an old BMPCC and BMMCC six months ago and that was the best decision I ever made, color and DR is excellent ! it will do much more work but it's worth it.
