If it is a pre-existing sensor that has already been used, that bodes better than the QC issues BM has had with other introductions. But it is a significant departure from original pocket, so who knows what issues it might have.

webrunner..they're showing/picturing it in action settings, riding on the back of a motorcycle..also vlogging mention by Petty. There are just too many advantages to articulating screen in a small camera.. If you don't need it, just use it on back..but if you had the option, you'd find it liberating.

Would love for that to be the case...especially given higher sensitivity..there will likely be something in the frame that's "hot". If so..that, along with timecode i/o would help in more pro setups. Timecode is a game-changer in this camera class. Even c200 lacks it. Not just a multicam feature..more often it's for dual system audio crews. Regarding Panny rep's comment on audio, hard to say whether there is improvement beyond the onboard mic. They need to put the monitoring latency bypass feature back in.

I wasn't attempting to disagree re tc and multicam. But I would submit single cam with tc sync dual system sound is a more common professional scenario.

"I can see if you're a OMB with one or two cams and only so much footage, that TC would be less of a concern. " Though I would be surprised with TC I/O on GH5s, a primary use is for double system sound...beginning with one camera.. However. that feature alone would be significant in this market segment.
