    4k tv as monitor

How far from the TV do you plan to seat? The problem with LED TV is that they tend to be too bright in order to show good white. It might not be the healthiest thing for your eyes.
  2. Thank you, we'll have to see yet how the files react to luts and color corrections. Maybe other picture profiles can be tuned to be more flatter.
  3. So you're saying that the files are flexible enough in editing? Like raising shadows etc. Also, can you fine tune the cinema picture profile?
  4. You change iso and dont touch shutter speed while filming, this is a basic rule...
  5. If you care to watch the whole video, you will get a full answer for that.
  6. As you can see here, while recording video, iso, Aperture and shutter speed values are presented on the screen, watch around 12:30 time:
  7. I saw in the specs 29 mintues limit. Are you sure you're not confusing with the X-T2?
  8. Welcome. Looks like you've got a lemon. Its not normal, I never had it with the RX100 IV.
  9. You can download here some 4K DCI video samples from the camera: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B6OHIUZ9PCvNdjBsaTNYRHItclE
  10. Probably, LCD material does not react very good to overheating, Sony won't be glad replacing many of them because of that...
  11. I was sure this was the first problem to be solved. Look at the new E-M1 II: full sensor read and very little RS!
  12. I cannot understand how come they didn't fix the Rolling shutter problem.
  13. As the E-M1 II price is 2,000$, the GH5 price will be the same probably.
  14. Looks like the A6500 has same rolling shutter as the A6300 :-(
  15. There is a problem with this statement, as Nikon that won number 1 in the "JPEG shootout" also use Sony sensor...
  16. Look here, the GH4 has much more noise:
  17. Are you watching this on a 4K monitor?
  18. Its not F-log but flat profile which does not look so flat...
  19. 4K compilation, I guess it was not shot with flat profile:
  20. That's why I think these samples (that show sudden camera moves of the operator...) demonstrate that rolling shutter is really good here.
  21. From these 2 samples, looks like we have a 4K without rolling shutter. Shot and uploaded in 4K: Shot in 4K, uploaded in 1080p: Another sample:
  22. Another sample, no problem with rolling shutter:
  23. Look here at 0:46 for example: And here you see a lot of running horses with trees in the background:
  24. Isn't the auto focus same as A6300?
