I don t go for ax700 because it is old technology, old feature in sw..old hw.... and it cost like an fx30 almost That s why i ask here what can do a similar job of that camcorder

I want to have only 1 lens on my camera to do all.change just very special need

24 105 ff right?dont rember the calculation...how is apsc equivalent?how much does it cost the sigma adaptor?i also see on amazon second hand package camera+20 60 for a price that i could buy... [but not the 20 60) I had excitement to go finally for 1st time to sony...but may be is even more exciting to go first time to full frame

What could be a good zoom lens for it?for sony fx30ni would go for 18 105...similar lens for s5?

Panasonic has one of the best integration for video yes, and this machine has the latest af of panasonic. BuT for what i see camera +lens are well.above 2000 euro

that is the other option together with the x s20.hard choice between these 2 also

no it is a budget question. i rarely do paid job, do it for my pleasure. so i have a limit for the money i want to invest

i use video, not thinking about photo. Panasonic has no good af, so i don't consider it too much fx3o at that price is high for me, as in euro comes like 2400... I have wrote to tdimension and asked for warranty, how it works

as i said i still have fuji 18 55..is tamron better? and it has same af performances?

i think if i go for alternzative it is x s20, i like fuji, i would change for a more videocamera style device but all the other a part fx30 are not this style

I would go also for used market, but i cant find less than 1900. MPB has it at that price..in italy where i live even more!

Panasonic don t have good af, a part latest s5,so generally dont look at them. Other possibility is sony a6700. Tdimension has warranty but you have to ship to hong kong

xs20 was my first choice, i still have the 18 55 also(but if the af on tamron is good it might be a better choice) then i saw that price for fx30 in tdimension and i get excited, as it looks a real change more than the xs20. Anyway the xs20 is actually the alternative to fx30 till now

hello i have just sold my xt3 as i want to upgrade some feature and possibily change the style of shooting So, a part of the quality image, i want a good AF, a usable stabilizer and a good zoom range..something like run and gun i could say. A camcorder like ax700 would be very close to what i want, but it is now quite olds and its technology must have been heavily surpassed from lots of gear..and for what it still costs i don't really feel like investing that much for such a kind of tool. But that is an example of the type of gear i would go for . Other newer camcorder have also lots of limitations, i don't talk of the 1" sensor that could still be ok, but about recording specs. Seems so hard to find one that record at 50/60 in 4k. So i am looking to sony fx30 which seems to me more similar to a camcorder (i talk about the way it is used). Combined wih a 18 105 i can have also the desidered zoom always connected without the need of change lens. But to remain within the budget (under 2k euro) i must buy it in tdimension site, and it is a kind of risk in the case i would need a warranty... In that case i might have some problem..i think./never bought there) SO i am asking some suggestion for alternatives within the budget i specified and with the feature i have described. p.s. I can look also at 2nd hand market of course tanks

i get it for 300 euro, i wanted to have a go with a camcorder format, and for that price i tried. But at first test my sony zv1 iq seems better. Of course the ax100 has otther vantage..but i need to see all the disadvantage

hello i have just got a sony fx100, i bought it used At first..i am worried about noisy image when panning. When record at 6mbp it is terrible. At 100 no, but it is really evident the rolling shutter (all at 4k) To ax100 owner..are there any things to do to get the best out of the camera berfore everything? I have always used mirrorless..so camera may need different treatment Also..i want to understand if these things are nomral or this is a faulty copy Thanks

should record a uniform color? for example..all blue?all black?all white?

The person who sells it, doen't have knowledge wih these tools, and i would like to understand if there are preebolem with sensor, dead pixels. How can i do?what shall i do for her to check, in a not too complicated manner?thanks
