Oh THERE S my baby mama! She s always running off to intl imaging events.

Could it be a lens issue? in the same way certain RF type glass just doesnt work well with the nex7's high pixel count? Could the lenses be at fault causing this problem. Was this a new lens (also at prototype stage) used to shoot this test footage? I don't want to give up on the new gh yet.

Yes that is correct. Image quality was priority over multi-aspect.

He was incredibly intelligent, his notepad left me almost speechless at the end.

I agree. I think the fact that he was listening to Andrew and taking the time to get specifics and write them down in his notepad. The point being that he's going to look into it and see if it's possible. I think that's a pretty big deal.

For reference, related to your earlier question about AF... Contrast detect AF on the GH3 is faster than the Nikon D3's phase detect. The only flaw of CD AF is if you have a very low contrast area of the image which you're trying to lock focus onto, you will get some hunting.
