  1. Expensive for so little. Phew... a7 and successive versions had not gotten my heart either. R and S did, though. GH5 rules for serious video/film work.
  2. Panasonic 12-35 at 2.8 with dual OIS 4k 50fps exported to 1080 25fps AF Speed +2 AF Sensitivity 0 AFS Precise
  3. And here's another one -- well, that's actually touchscreen focus feature and not focus transition for the last part of the video from 1:40 on (his complain as far as hunting concerns, it doesn't match on the same feature either but only for AF other than that), I guess:
  4. I am lost on all this AF crap... what the hell... this seems to be pretty accurate and enough: Even from fastest settings and not the best light for that background clock, it is not as bad as some people like to announce on web:

  7. LOL For some reason you've felt the need for ; ) I wish YT may raise the standards we've become used to. And vloggers are used to put up their views.
  8. I know it is your perspective, Jon : ) But, I was expecting much more from them. Maybe it is also the vlogging style which irritates me, maybe yes, maybe not : D I fairly concur that spending time of viewers to see people to pick up someone else to the airport, it is not my beach at all. As much as all that calling out stuff, who pays this or that. Shouldn't Panasonic be the ones to promote it after all? Their silence or empty statement on a par with a Lumix Luminary who has no clue about 4K on a6500 puzzles me even further. As already written, I didn't see multiple lens setup testing, fair alternatives to eventual limitations of the system, the whole range of settings to be tested in distinct setups. To me, the fact they spent dozens of precious time for that result, reminds me that famous expression... a Pyrrhus victory. I can even recall the tests you've conducted on your YT channel. You have no need for marketing gimmicks to give to your viewers some truly accurate information. Pretty helpful BTW : ) That would be the standard I'd like to find from their meeting.
  9. Right. But to my view, Max and Joseph both have failed for unscientific tests despite their claims. Very incomplete testing. Disappointing to see. A lot of grapefruit, a little grape. All of that because of YT views... Phew.
  10. On manual lenses realm, you won't have access to touchscreen focus... The best workaround to full AF IMO. No idea if with SB + Sigma 18-35 on Canon side, you have it or not, though.
  11. You and me, Ken, I think you all know it... : ) On his newest test, the same here. Where are the different lenses? External recording tests? The whole range of settings? What the hell Joseph was going to do there? To be focus subject to the Max's GH5?
  12. I second that : ) Actually, I'd really like to simply know if... does tap-to-focus work with SpeedBooster + Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 too? :-)
  13. Does tap-to-focus work with SpeedBooster + Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 too?
  14. On G7, it can work out... Maybe a matter of habit or taste? : ) Any signs of hunting in any of both MF and AF modes? Thanks for your input :-)
  15. Indeed. But, there are midways. As much as certain usage such as gimbal work, one-person show... :-)
  16. Have you tested tap-to-focus in both AF and MF modes?
  17. Have you checked the settings for tap-to-focus? Perhaps a sweet spot may save the grace in order to prevent any hunting? I also find tap-to-focus pretty useful and a midway between AF and manual. Also possible to go from AFC and MF, so maybe with different results?
