EOSHD Soundtrack Compositions is a library of music for filmmakers, run by myself with the talented film score composer Ofer Hauptman and Berlin-based solo artist Herdwhite. It’s exclusive original music you won’t find it anywhere else. It’s a one-off.

To avoid copyright infringement on Vimeo and YouTube uploads, it is now necessary for users to obtain a sync license for copyrighted tracks or risk having work taken offline, or worse legal action from a record label. I as a filmmaker do not agree with the system as it is, the expense and complexity of it – it simply isn’t good enough! That’s why we created EOSHD Soundtrack Compositions.

EOSHD Soundtrack Compositions makes it as easy and as affordable as possible to use music safely on film and video work.

For non-commercial work a sync license for a single composition costs just $25, half the price of The Music Bed. EOSHD wants to support the artist and DSLR filmmaker. For commercial shooters and pros who wish to use high quality music in their paid work compositions start at just $149.

How does it work?

Both the license and pricing and greatly simplified compared to competing services. We have just two price levels for our music and no matter what the price, the music remains premium & creatively original. It won’t bore the socks off your audience.

Between them, our $25 and $149 licenses cover all kinds of use and filmmaker. Additionally custom quotes are available for discounts when more than one track is ordered, or for when a use is requested for the music that isn’t covered by the normal licenses.

License 1 – Non-commercial ($25)

This license is for aspiring filmmakers, artists, students and camera enthusiasts who wish to use a track perpetually from the library on their uploads to Vimeo or YouTube. The license strictly only covers short-form non-commercial work under 10 minutes long.

License 2 – Commercial ($149)

This license is for all filmmakers and professional videographers where the project is paid for by a client, or where the work is commercial in nature, i.e. commercial wedding videos, work for clients, short films, documentaries and feature films.
