The prices from the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 will come down again. The GTX 1080 will still have it beat, but the amd vega is well priced below it. By the way in Resolve there is less difference then I'd like between my iMac GPU and GTX 970 in my PC desktop rig!! But consider Vega's are going to consume more power (I don't know if matters to you) and because of cryptocurrency miners you might not be able to find any Vega with MSRP price.
