Cheap flicker-free lights

Hi there,

I need to shoot indoor at high shutter speed (1/500) and of course, flicker is a big issue. I thought that with a led powered by battery, it would be ok, so I bought a cheap 20$ one to try. Since I started this thread, You already know the results :)

Any piece of advice ?

Thanks :)

Get some cheap redheads and buy/make some diffusion to go in front of them or bounce boards to fire them against. Otherwise, if you have the money to invest in something a little nicer, grab a used Source Four Par off eBay. Excellent build, beautiful light quality, and more output for the wattage than comparable tungsten fixtures.
