exomonkeyman Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 I know it sounds silly... well that's because it is silly, but i'm curious if it's possible to get an adapter for a A7RII for EF-S lenses not EF. And if it is possible would they work in S35 mode as it's kinda close to an APS-C crop.Really interested to know if possible and what adapter and the side effects for doing this is. The projected image just isn't intended to cover fullframe sensors.This is a note on the Metabones site: 'Vignetting at corners may occur for certain EF-S lenses because they are designed to cover a 1.6x crop image circle but Sony NEX has a 1.5x crop sensor'. exomonkeyman 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EF-S lenses work perfectly.If you set the A7 to FF mode, then you'll have a large black circle around the image, so flicking to s35 is required to get rid of it.
