Hi EOSHD community, I've been a daily reader and pretty regular commenter here over the past year, and wanted to share some exciting news. My first feature film will premiere at the LA Film Festival in two weeks! It's been a labor of love and a lot of work to get it to this point, so I'd love for any of you in the area to come out to the screening and to meet IRL. Hey folks, I've been posting here for close to a year. All the while working on this project in the background. It's a dramatic coming-of age tale. We shot on both Canon c500 and Red cameras, with vintage Cooke S2 lenses. Let me know what you think!

I, like everyone else saw the Sony A7S videos, and was completely blown away. While it is superb strategy for Sony to COMPLETELY handicap the camera, despite its insane potential. I believe Sony will introduce this sensor in its 'F' range as well as 'FS' range of cameras, which will see its full potential. While the GH4 sensor is nowhere in the league of the A7S's, Panasonic has not purposely handicap its potential to 1/10th, to make way for its professional range, which is both respectable, as well as sensible. Hi! Can someone confirm if the image quality recorded OUT TO MXF is the SAME or not when using these two different modes? - Only MXF internalrecording to CF (1920x1080 8-bit 4:2:2) - 2K priority mode enabled, 1920x1080 output selected AND recording to MXF internally to CF. I am obligued to activate 2K priority in order to have the 2x MON outputs enabled (not active on "only MXF), but read somewhere that the resulting MXF signal recorded internally is derived from the 2K/HD output,whereas if using the "only MXF"mode, the signal bypass one process (Sensor->
