Sorry guys, I really don't get you. Where are all these problems on low light? I'm not an influencer nor an ambassador so I can only watch other people's GH6 reviews but I shot with Lumix camera underwater in though conditions since GH1. Among the countless GH6 reviews I've been watching, this has real world examples and compares GH6 directly with Sony A7SIII. So ATM it's the only review I found which shows different camera clips side by side. BTW this guy tests and uses a bunch of gear but basically he is a Sony A7 guys. Well, by his own admission, GH6 images are way better under most conditions. While images sucks for both cameras at 6400 already, GH6 surrenders to A7SIII at ISO 12800. Repeat with me: I - S - O 1 - 2 - 8 - 0 - 0 my question is: who shoot at ISO 12800? Hereafter some bookmarks for GH6 Vs A7SIII: 9:05 onwards GH6 resolution is better. 15:20 onwards ISO test. GH6 wins hands down up to ISO 6400. 27:00 onwards DR test. Again GH6 is better. Other facts: AF sucks but it's usable under some conditions. IBIS is the best out there. probably the best cheap anamorphic camera of all time. Tons of terrific ergonomic features for video users (as all the other GH camera) So when I read so many rants about it, what I'm missing?

90 minutes of applauses! I just don't understand why it is assumed that EVERYONE aspires to have a FF camera. And that therefore those who don't have a FF camera must necessarily suffer from the small penis syndrome. It's just the premise that is wrong. In my own small way (deep technical diving), I wouldn't think of taking an FF camera on a dive, which, with its housing and porthole, is as big as a washing machine. The M43 is the perfect compromise of quality and size. For decades sports photographers have used APSC cameras because it was the right tool for the job. And for eons cinematography has been Super 35mm. Now legions of youtubers have decided that if you don't have an FF camera you're a loser. Then of course I respect all those who need a FF sensor for their work but they should stop explaining me what I need... Regarding Gerald, if you're a Youtuber for a living you play by the rules of your job and shut up just like all the other workers who clock in in the morning.

I don't understand... Granted that we will then need to see the files generated, I don't understand how you can compare the two cameras on video specs. It seems to me that the OM-1 has almost the same specs as the current GH5 except for 240 fps in Full HD and external ProRes. Hi all, I was shooting open gate and trying to set display video guidelines (markers) on my GH5 with latest firmware. I see Andrew on his old post has these nice blue lines while on my camera they are thin and grey nearly visible. On the GH5S I can set band color, transaprency etc... Is it possible on GH5? Am I missing some menu? Thank you in advance

Have you ever considered switch to Edius? Probably it's the most used NLE from wedding videographers for its speed. With your PC specs it will literally flies. It can even create proxes on the fly or setting lower resolution to speed up editing.
