Enjoy, I really liked my time with my S1R (and onto the S1R2 now)

I also find this quite baffling, this camera in a FX2 body would have been a great move! I don't get it!

The Panasonic S1 II pricing is wrong, and so is the entire product strategy since 2018

I couldn't agree more, Most of my stills now are on the S1R2 and the files are fantastic. Only step up for me would be a GFX100II. I don't think any of the typical reviews can address this, I think you have to shoot and work on files for a few months to get a good feel for what you can do (and can't do) with them.

ARRI closing up shop, needs a buy-out - maybe Sony?
ArashM replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
As far as their lighting goes, since about 2 years ago I've been seeing Aputure and Nanlite products trickle in on big film sets, I think this was bound to happen. Also IMHO I don't see a single camera company fit to take up Arri! -

it started happening faster in hotter conditions, 24-27C, but still happens at around 20C. When I narrowed it down to the card being the issue, I would just leave the camera running on my table while doing post work, and would regularly fill up the card or run out of battery with the Delkin or OWC without any warning, but with the Lexar card about 10-12 minutes in, the heat warning sign would come on, and it would terminate recording in about 20 min or so. PS Should add the cards that cuz thermal issues for me are 128GB gold Lexar Cards

Man that H265 doesn't look all that great beside the other formats

I think you are a 100% on the money, there was probably confusion with the ZF, which indeed does carry that card set up. Truthfully I have no idea how Red code and SD/Mirco SD can work out!

Canon Should try any current Lumix camera for hand held IBIS work. They are very good and there is a good portion of what I shoot now where I don't have to be on a gimbal!

sigh!!!!

So is that the S9 then?
