  1. He means Dual IS, the IBIS has been confirmed to work with non lumix brand lenses. Luke has stated that he's used a Sigma lens on the GH5.
  2. I'm pretty sure you just described Trump. ( more of a celebrity than a politician, he's smug, etc etc. ) hahahahaha
  3. I hear you, only I haven't seen a post in this topic that warranted a tear down attack masked as criticism. It should always be constructive, or it's wasted.
  4. I think I remember him saying a couple days ago that he hadn't, could be wrong, but either way I'd like to know also.
  5. Info, and tips are what we are all here for right? or am I missing something? Neumann was nice enough to release footage for anyone interested in getting hands on with, and enjoy, and yet out of nowhere venom drenched comments get posted with only the purpose to "de-grade" someone who took a shot at grading Neumann's footage. Not too many here can claim to be a expert or professional colorist, and it's also safe to assume most do not have means to hand off Neumanns "free" pre-ship GH5 clips to a working professional colorist just to post here for peer review.
  6. Every tech advance we've seen through the last 8 years has pushed the m43 crowd to a point where it will never be happy. I say this because we continue to see comments about price, too much of a video-E look, jello / jitter, IBIS looks off, and so on. Still some how these things wind up back ordered for months beyond release, you guys must be buying them. If a manufacturer ever made the "perfect" camera, whatever that would be??? people would still complain about the price in the end. No camera manufacturer could ever deliver such, because it would be different for every user... wants/needs are subjective, Panasonic cant deliver that. I've seen the "just give me this or that in a camera" post since 2010, and the more they advance, the more people continue to demand, while waiting for the next new camera announcement. The industry still considers these GH cameras consumer market items, and based on that alone, Panasonic has provided a lot throughout the years. You still have to understand Panasonic is a business just like Canon, and they all will move as such.
  7. I agree. I have owned a A7Sii ( my first camera with ibis), then later on, a GX85... I liked both cameras, but I probably enjoyed using my bmpcc more than the A7Sii. I dig ibis, and gimbals but it's not game over if your camera is without them.
  8. What'd we do before ibis, and affordable gimbals?
  9. Out of all the video Ive seen from the XT2, none look like Andrews. Footage from a few different users, and none look like this. So I doubt you should worry about your purchase. The thing is, there are similarities with Andrews Canon 1DX MII Video... Something strange, not what I have seen from him in the past. His NX1 video's are what pushed me to give the NX1 a try... but I cant call it with recent uploads - baffled honestly. SHRUGS, I still plan to purchase the XT2.
  10. Crazy- ness... I mean some Artist use Windsor and Newton, while some use Kolinsky Sable, they both will work with painting canvas. It's your choice what you use, I find it funny when we fall into the this camera vs that camera nonsense, the purist vs the trendy new guys on the block. Everyone should buy what they choose to. That said, I'm loving the idea of a fuji xt2.
  11. They will only charge tax if youre located in Texas ( unless you have provided your tax exemption form ). They are very legit, and have a active presence on dvxuser as someone stated above. Ive ordered from them a few times with only positive experiences to report.
  12. Agreed, The last shot of the converse is amazing.
  13. DPC, that is not my work, I just thought I'd update interested forum members with a new found vimeo upload.
  14. I tried my hand with live chat, and an live chat agent by the name of Jodene C. took some time to look into it, and returned after about 8 minutes to say it is 4:2:2. She closed the chat before I could get the screenshot but you can still see it in the attachment.
  15. My mistake, Sanveer is correct. The video was tagged with GX80/GX85 tags but was not shot using the camera. It was tagged because their next project will be shot completely using the GX80/GX85.
