  1. For 800 dollar its a very very good deal, i edit nex 7 AVCHD on my macbook air with 4gb ram with no problems.
  2. Would something like this work for an a7?
  3. sony a7r also does 1080 60fps which to me is the deal breaker between the 7d and a7r
  4. Just a quick question, would have a camera such as the 70d with servo af on while using an anamorphic make so that you only have to focus with the anamorphic manually? Just curios
  5. i Do that on my nex when i record for along time on a tripod. Set the camera up how i want it then flip out the screen and turn down brightness all the way
  6. When recording for long, turning the lcd brightness all the way down help ALOT, on my nex 7 i can only get around 4 min in hot sunlight until it overheates. When i have screen all the way down i get 15min
  7. Is the Hdmi 4k out both super 35 and full frame?
  8. i'd be suprised if they decided to still use that old 24mp senosor. It's been around for so long.
  9. 220 is still really good for me, that combined with the 21mm will for sure give me the 40 bucks i spent back
  10. I'd say wait a bit more for some more long term reviews of the a7rII comes out and make your choice then.
  11. :O :O :O :O :O Edit: OMG the soligor is worth so much too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-RARE-NM-SOLIGOR-135mm-F-2-0-SUPER-FAST-and-NEAR-MINT-42mm-SCREWMOUNT-/351200815947?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51c5332b4b Looks like im getting something better than the a6000
  12. I found my dads old minolta camera and both the lenses fitted on it! So i now know the mount of the lenses. Now time to find out if getting an adapter for them is any meaning.
  13. Hi! I found these two old lenses in a thrift shop for 40 bucks, no clue what the brand/mount is but they look interesting. The 135mm F2 is enormous so probably wont balance too well on my nex. The 21mm looks interesting but very weird with the back part of it. If you know anything about these lenses i would love to hear if they are worth keeping or if i should get sell them. Btw isn't F2 for a 135mm really fast?
  14. I'm on a very restricted budget so a7000 will probably not be in my range, thanks for the tip im gonna check that site now Thanks for the info!
  15. Thanks! Bought it to use when i rent a fs100 with G log next time!
  16. sorry for going of topic but what did you use to grade that footage? It looked realy really nice!
  17. Hi! Sorry for all the questions i promise this is the last one haha, with the nex 7 i had a lot of problem with fast lenses aswell as ultra wides. My samyang 8mm f2.8 fisheye would make all the corners purple (http://***URL removed***/forums/thread/3369761), do anyone of you guys know if this is fixed on the A6000? The fisheye is a important part of my work so i really need it to work. But also when i used lenses faster then F2 i would get a pink cast covering all the frame exept of the corners, especially with my Nikon 55mm F1.2 and Nikkor 35mm F1.4 (http://diglloyd.com/blog/2012/20120105_2-SonyNEX7-ColorBalance.html) So if anyone have any experience with this i would love to hear about it! Thanks for all the help on my other questions.
  18. yes so true, i bought a t3i for 400£ in 2013 and sold it this spring on the swedish ebay for 390.
  19. I would highly recommend the Fotodiox "Though E mount" it fixes all the issues with play and wobble
  20. Sony seems to have a pretty consistent 6 months between each A7x camera so i would say december is very likely
  21. samyang 12mm f2 is a great lens if a prime is an option, its native e mount, really small and super sharp even at f2
  22. Thanks everyone for the answer, i think truly getting to know and working with da vinci is the best solution to my color problems.
  23. what exactly is the liveview app? Is it on the a6000 too?
