  1. Andy, HUGE thanks for the RJ adapter! I'm going to order it! :) Do you think this one is the same? It could arrive in less days at home: http://www.ebay.it/itm/ADATTATORE-CANON-FD-MICRO-4-3-SPEED-BOOSTER-OLYMPUS-PANASONIC-GH4-GH3-GH2-M4-3-/351116470242?pt=Filtri_e_Lenti&hash=item51c02c27e2 (I read that it's better not to point to lights to avoid blue point: is it true?)
  2. Vielen Dank Cinegain! yeah, this vintage-cheap thing is more intriguing than with musical instruments! :P Andy, really, you have to write a m43 lenses guide! (and also one guide on how to make cinematic video!)
  3. Andy, I tried to search the RJ speedbooster (FD to MFT) on Amazon and Ebay, but I cannot find it :( Could you help me? Now I'm too curious about having the Super 35 style on my Lumix.... ;)
  4. Me too! Your tips are simply AMAZING!
  5. I found an Helios 44M-4 58mm f2 for M42 for 50€: is it good? :)
  6. Wow Andy, every time I read your comments I learn some amazing things... THANK YOU! For my G6 and GH4 I rarely use the MFT lenses I have (Olympus 12, 25 and 45) - except the 12 f/2 that comes in handy for wide or handheld - and I use almost always Canon FD 28 f/2.8, 50 f/1.4 and 35-105 f/3.5. Do you think I could buy other FD lenses? I can't find the speed booster you talked about: have you an internet shop where to find it? I also have a couple of M42 lenses: a great Zeiss Jena 50 Pancolar and a not so great 29 Pentacon. Do you have some suggestion also on M42 lenses? When it is better to use Canon FD and when to use Pancolar? Thank you very much for your patience! :)

    Lighting Help

How many watts are necessary for a normal interior/exterior work? Could you explain me how to measure LED watts compared to traditional watts? I ask you because it's difficult for me to understand how many watts I need for a set to work with, reading just the specs on ebay/amazon. Thank you very much!
  10. Andrew, my father just bought an Olympus EM10: I find the stabilization very useful, especially for old manual lenses. Do you think that as the E-M1 was updated with 4K will ever be possible for the GH4 to have the stabilization in the body in a future firmware update? Thank you very much! :)
  11. Yes, for sure it is impossible to cancel the motion blur from a shaky cam! But it seems a really interesting project!
  12. Hey, 137$? How is it possible?? :) http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__51496__Turnigy_PRO_Steady_Hand_Gimbal_3_Axis_KIT.html
  13. Thank you very much for your kind tips! I definitively have to start to save some bucks for the Ronin! :)
  14. Hallo! When Movi came out I was astonished, but the price was so proibitive that I just had to look away. I used a Flycam Nano DSLR for a while, but I don't really like it. I'd like to run on all the uneven terrain etc... and with a Flycam it's not possible. Now some other brands made their version of this great instrument: I saw some reviews and the two stabilizer I find very attractive are Came 7800 (in this days at a special price) and DJI Ronin at a higher price. http://www.came-tv.com/assembled-32-bit-came7800-3-axis-camera-gimbal-p-582.html http://www.dji.com/product/ronin Here you can see a genial short produced by DJI with the amazing BTS: I'm totally after one of this stabilizer but, unfortunately, I have not all that money, even if they are a lot cheaper then the Movi counterpart. Do you think it is possible to build or use some other things to achieve that stunning results or it is better to save some bucks and think to buy one of those stabilizer? Which one would you buy? Came 7800 or DJI Ronin? Thank you very much!

Excuse me if I add a question to this topic, but could you explain me how to "convert" LED watts to fresnel / tungsten watts? For instance, I saw this insanely cheap lights: http://www.leroymerlin.it/catalogo/illuminazione/proiettori-da-esterno/proiettore-tanko-nero-150-w-34292965-p http://www.leroymerlin.it/catalogo/illuminazione/proiettori-da-esterno/proiettore-yonkers-alluminio-10-w-34950860-p Would they be useful for a cheap set or do I need something more powerful? :) Thank you!
  16. I just bought a 12 and I was disappointed from this "problem". But the images' quality is so good that I have to accept this annoying transition.
  17. Yes, Rokinon 10 and 12 would be nice! Or, if you have the m43 mount there is the Olympus 12 f/2, which I love.
  18. Yes, this is true for every "instruments", like guitars, saxes, trumpets... and cameras! I personally was a Canon-boy, then, after the delusion for the 70D (it was good, but in the same way of my old 600-T3i), I tried the G6 and I was blown away... so, when GH4 came out I sold my 70D and all the Canon lenses to buy it. But you're perfectly right, it's just subjective and the best camera is the one you shot happily with :)
