J.F.R. is reaaaally trying to bring back the EOS in EOSHD.

I'm sure we'll be seeing slim monitor+recorder combos that will use CF for a slimmer/lighter design.

I think the game will change when camera/accessory companies are able to make wireless bluetooth type transmissions between devices with no cords. Not talking about Teradek but internal antennas. Also an iPad type battery that's inside a monitor that will run all day, with no need for external batteries. All of this in a slim design would be killer.

It has all the features of the DP-7 Pro, but a 2" smaller screen. I'd guess anywhere from $1000-$1500.

​Yes Sony menus are the worst. I just used an FS7 on a project and was actually considering buying one till i spent time with the menus. It reboots when you make significant changes to the settings. The wheel is hard to scroll, etc. Bah.

I think it's way more common in music videos and sport commercials. But you're right. A ton of slow mo beach/city footage going up on Vimeo.

1 year too late. I'm sure Panasonic will release a forward thinking camera this year that will render the Canon competitor irrelevant.

Unless RJ Speedboosters have drastically improved in the last 6 months, i would avoid. Blue spots appearing out of nowhere in footage. If you're using for paid jobs, just go for Metabones.

What program are you using to grade? Most of them have skin qualifiers where you can adjust hue till skin looks right. It just takes alot of trial and error with your camera/LUT/hues. You'd definitely wanna add some magenta on SONY.

I don't give 2 shits about Canon now. When is the GH4 firmware update!?

I'm using an FS7 for the first time on a shoot. How many minutes of 4K do you get out of a 128GB XQD card? I'm not sure whether to get 2, or 3.

Do you have the Speedbooster wide open? I know if you have it turned all the way to 0 the edges are really soft.

​Absolutely. The 18-35 is easily my favorite lens.

Get Nikon glass with speedbooster or adapters. Nikon has manual aperture in the lenses. EF does not. Just my 2 cents.

That's the cheap speed booster. I tried one out and kept getting the blue spot. Bit the bullet and got theMetabones version instead.
