Well, have you seen what e-infinity is selling the A7R IV for? £2200. It is £3500 in the UK shops. No wonder they have sold a bucket load. E-infinity isn't a good representative for the market, the pricing is a fluke and they are a niche grey market store.

LX100 II was a bit disappointing for video wasn't it... Definitely needs a proper update next time I can see some Sony users moving back to a GH6 with 6K and Phase-detect AF... would be a very big deal, if A7S III disappoints. Also a smaller version of S1, not so heavy, better AF.

Seems like the surveys vary depending on who you ask. Just opening this to start off the discussion of the Z-CAM E2 models. I shot with one for the first time at IBC in 2019 and will bring you some footage from the full frame 6K version of the Z-CAM 2

I partially agree but this is why I liked the X-H1. Good battery life, big grip, good AF and exceptional IBIS. If Fuji can successfully marry the two together, they have a major winner AF needs to be a bit more bullet proof but it's still pretty good... depending on the lens. Some of the X lenses use whirry old focus motors and heavy moving front element.

Personal View covered it. Been a long wait for it. They'd be better off keeping it under-wraps then surprising everyone, and then releasing it.

It's IMAX approved instead! Here was my lens adapters strategy with the GFX 50S... It will be same when I get GFX 100, in 100 years when the price is down to under £4000. 1x Leica M -> GFX Adapter 1x EF -> GFX Adapter with Autofocus (Techart) Then multiple Leica M to whatever SLR lens I was using, be it Nikon, M42, Contax Yashica, etc. The Minolta MD lenses worked the best You get some light fall off in the corners but not hard vignetting on lenses that pair well with it. Most of the ones that cover are longer than 50mm and the wider ones don't tend to do as well. Some SLR lenses designed for full frame were over-engineered to cover a larger image area. Don't expect much in way of corner sharpness compared to Fuji's own GFX lenses though. You can also get adapters to Hasselblad HC lenses. Or cheaper, older manual focus ones. There's a lot of old medium format glass on eBay if you don't wish to experiment with full frame stuff. My favourites of the full frame stuff on GFX mount are: Canon FD 85mm F1.2 - covers full sensor and looks sooooooooo damn good Sigma 85mm F1.4 ART Minolta MD Rokkor 58mm F1.2 Minolta MD Rokkor 35mm F1.8 Here is the guy who inspired me to try the Minolta stuff https://jonasraskphotography.com/2017/08/16/minolta-x-fujifilm/ Sigma 105mm F1.4 ART worked well, but very heavy! Did they scrap the innovative tilting screen mechanism of the X-T100? Looks like it. Could be a good little camera though.

Hoping to hear from people with hands-on experience with the 1D X Mark III at CES or other places... Did it have final firmware (v1.0)? Was it pre-production? Did Dual Pixel AF work in 5.5K RAW 24p and 10bit 4K 24p?

Fringer adapter works well, I have that one. Review of it soon. The Kipon adapter has had a firmware update though so need to see if AF has improved on that too. They do a Baveyes (their Speed Booster) with AF, whereas Fringer don't yet. People really want to get rid of Sony? Or maybe it hints at Sony's great sales success of last few years.

Call me crazy but I just bought a second hand X Pro3. I am curious for colour-related reasons. The movie mode has a few new parameters to play with when it comes to colour and the new film style. The X Pro2, the ergonomics of which I preferred over the X-T3 in every way, ignores all the film style parameters including sharpness, and just uses default. It also doesn't shoot F-LOG, Eterna, ignores DR setting, and doesn't have slow-mo 120fps so I thought it worth the upgrade, the X-Pro 2 being one of my favourite stills cameras that also happened to do pretty nifty 4k with the firmware update. Sure, the X-Pro3 lacks some of the X-T3 specs... no 10bit, screen may take some getting used to, EVF is smaller, and X-T4 might be round the corner with IBIS but there is something I like about the X-Pro body design and handling. If you look at the tests so far, X-Pro3 is using 6K full sensor readout as well like X-T3 so the image should be very good. Very high bitrate ALL-I H.264 as well, so easier to edit than the 10bit on X-T3. Phase-detect AF. I think it's going to be a dark horse of a camera to be honest, especially when used prices come down, and a bit different.

Are you sure it isn't just the good old surfing trick, a well known YouTuber ploy to make any camera look good, because it's under water somewhere spectacular and there's 10 trillion dollars worth of lenses and rigging on the front?
