Let's not forget the biggest driver of the video quality: Canon basically determines the video quality (like a setting) after-the-fact to maintain product differentiation. In other words, the video quality is not driven by hardware limitations, it’s driven by ill conceived marketing strategies.

What about HIGH iso performance? Looking at the ISO noise chart it (can't find it now) looks like ISO 10000 @ 5dMK3 == ISO 20000 @ 1DX.
Was looking for video test but NOBODY has tested it yet (high ISO 5dmk3 vs 1DX). Good opportunity to get famous IMHO ;).
