leslie Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 Me, I'm embarrassed to say 🙄 I can also say the version of resolve that came with the p4k was abit unstable, later updates seemed to have sorted that and now resolve runs quite well. I run at 1080, haven't used proxies. Actually i just checked my p4k, must have been playing around, last setting were black magic raw, ultra hd, constant bitrate, 8 to 1, to t5 ssd. Resolve takes a few seconds 10-20 maybe to import the footage and most of the clips i imported were about ten seconds long. upgrading the ram is one of the things on the agenda, just waiting for a few days work. My laptop is a dell and the ram maxes out at 16gig so i guess i 'll chucking another 8 gig of ram at it some time soon i hope. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
