Dr. John R. Brinkley
I'm selling my GH3. I've only used it about 5 times, so it's practically brand new. It feels like a shame to already sell it considering I had high hopes of getting back into filmmaking but right now I just don't have time or a project in mind. I realized I didn't use it for shooting stills. I'd rather still just shoot a few rolls a year of Tri-X on my Nikon FM when the inspiration hits. And I want to get away from technical obsessions for the moment and focus on reading books and trying to get inspired with ideas for upcoming projects. Any by then, hopefully the BMPCC will (hopefully) be available. Anyway, more info than anyone needs to know. I live in San Antonio. If anyone is interested in the camera, send me a message and we can talk details. Thanks. Ratguity
Chrad
I reccomend you go take a writing class or something like that. I just did recently and the constant deadlines forced me to open up creatively and get things flowing again.
Dr. John R. Brinkley
That is a good idea. I used to be a journalist and all the writing definitely activated the mind. Now, I see psychiatric patients and basically interview them all day long. This has given me some great ideas for projects, but you take the stress home with you sometimes. Mirrorkisser
Getting away from technical obsessions is a good thing! Sometimes i read specs aswell like its a bloody novel by Tolstoi or Dostojevsky and then i ask myself for what? Recently i have been studying the c-mount solutions for the new bmpcc like a nutcrack. Luckily i manage to pull myself away from that and just go out and shoot, creative time is 90% of all cases better spend out in the field, getting things going with what you got already...
