  1. Yes absolutely, that's terrible, THEY should sort it out, not you!
  2. The Z8 was a bit of a no go for me, never quite got the AF to work consistantly and while on paper it ticks all the boxes, in use it just was a bit of a let down for me and how I use it.
  3. I shot with a A74 for a year and a half along with my other gear, and have had 2 S5iix since they were released. Will take an S5iix body over the A7 line any day of the week. My big challenge with the S5iix was the st*^&d flipped out screen would jam against all 4 ports which stops it from any rotation. The S1Rii solved that with the new screen design. the APS-C crop for 60p is also a bit of a pain in the backend. I've done very well with the S5iix, and looking forward to receiving my S1Rii.
  4. This must be a regional thing, DHL is solid and I've had a great track record with them
  5. I see, Thank you so much for your thoughts
  6. @Jahleh Thank you for posting, wondering why did you go over to the Z6iii with mostly having a Lumix kit ?
  7. Not what I was expecting but kinda intriguing!!!
  8. I'm curious why are you thinking of running the 18-50 on the S9? is it only for 50/60P ? As for your main question... we really don't know enough, I'm also curious if Lumix follows the body design of the S1 series, or if it's a new body, or they re-cycle the S5ii body. (I don't think that is likely) Hopefully we'll know by end of month.

Another vote for the C70, I love the image and while it's not to everyones liking I do like the body/design as well. I picked up a XH2s just before the holiday, can't say I've gotten along with it. good luck
  10. This comment is so accurate! Totally agree.
  11. It will be a SL3 body with the logo blacked out, there is no world where I see them using a S5ii body (unless I totally miss-understood your comment)
  12. Personally for me, give me Full frame 4K 60p and I'm in, I preferred my S1H over the S5iiX that I use now!
  13. @Snowfun That's great, was your image taken in Scotland?
  14. Merry Christmas and happy holiday to everyone.
  15. Needless to say, like everyone else here I was hoping for an S1 or S1H replacement.
  16. OMG PLEASE tell me this was not the big announcement !!!!!
  17. WOW you sum up my feelings so well!
  18. while I hope I'm wrong, I just can't see how and where canon is going to introduce an R5C2 in their lineup!
  19. I find this very confusing, can any members who are in the EU kindly expand on this?
  20. Just think how much more successful the S9 would have been if it only had an EVF and a hotshoe I personally would pick one up instead of hoping to get a Fuji X100-6 one day.
  21. On the whole I agree with you, and it's not that I'm missing anything major, so I'll keep plugging along on the S5iix's. But there are little things that get annoying shoot after shoot. Also would have been nice to have a clean and clear upgrade path.
  22. I started with a GH4, then 2 GH5 bodies, they worked pretty great, went off to Fuji XT-3 as I was hoping to have one system for both Photo and video. Didn't work out and this was when Lumix had the big FW for G9, so bought 2 G9 and a bunch of lenses, went to GH6 (x2) from there. Ended up selling all my M43 once the S5iix was released, as the future was FF and PDAF, and I'm currently on 2 S5iix bodies and a mess of lenses as I had to buy APS-C for Crop 60P and normal range FF glass, I don't Love the S5IIx but they work fine so I guess I'll keep using them till the pro FF bodies arrive, But when will that be? then the GH7 comes along with PDAF, so do I sell everything and go back to GH7? Or sell everything and go Sony??? This is where Lumix has left me personally. Looking back, I can say that my GH5s and G9s just worked for what I did and served me very well. GH6 and beyond just don't have the same Mojo for me personally!
