In Gimp there is a Colors menu and in that is Component>Extract Component and in there you can extract many different channels, one of which is "YCbCr Cr" and it extracts the Cr channel from YCbCr (I assume, at least. Seems pretty self explanatory)

Here is a short demonstration of the Cr channels: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1veiqGodXKxerdNF_ksqLlAnFWbGQUtEe/view?usp=sharing
8bit is rubbish, never ever use it. 10bit is somewhat better than on the X-T3/4, but the chroma smoothing is still there, ProRes doesn't seem to help either. Interestingly the X-H2s seems to have more smoothing than the X-H2.
As much as I love Fuji for stills, I think I'll stick to other brands for video as I'm very sensitive for this kind of stuff, but for 99.9% of Fuji video shooters this is still a non-issue I guess. Are you selling your ycbcr extractor dctl? I'm using GIMP but it doesn't have a contrast and pivot and I don't feel that I'm getting the same results that you are.

Here is a link to all the footage.
All shot with the xf 23mm f1.4 R LM WR at F4. Iso was at the base iso for each respective flog 2 and the shutter speed was changed to get similar exposure. NR and Sharpening at -4 and no interframe NR. Video levels for Prores and full range for HEVC.
Files are named what they are, e.g. XH2 PRHQ is Prores HQ shot on the x-h2.

Sure. I don't have 2 copies of the same lens so I won't be able to shoot them simultaneously.
I might be able to get some black magic shots too, I don't own any canon or Sony since I've gone to Fuji.

I have an xhs2 too.

I have the x-h2 and would be happy to shoot anything in any resolution. I'm shooting mostly h.265 at 720mb but will gladly post anything you want.

Androidlad, you're just killing it with the stealth Fuji updates! Any clue if Fuji will ever get rid of a time limit restriction on recording? Seems they said the GFX-100 would have no restriction but I've heard it's a 60 min limit instead of a 30 min limit.

Well, let's be fair; supersampling what would effectively be a 12K image down to 4K would be complete overkill, and almost certainly would barbecue the sensor. Maybe if they dropped down to supersampling from an APS-C equivalent region that'd be workable, but then you may as well just use an X-T3.
According to the Fuji guy in the Three Blind Men and an Elephant video, "It's actually shooting 11K and downresing it." So, take that for whatever it means.
The new Fujifilm X-T5!

Having used the XT line for professional video since the xt-2 I feel I can confidently say that the XT cameras punch well above their weight for good looking video but you are definitely losing a lot by not using a more video-focused body. I've never had clients complain about image quality and had many compliments but I've also had to come up with many work arounds for stuff. I don't see much of a reason now to get the XT series for video work unless you have a specific need for high quality stills and video that you switch between constantly in a small and cheapish setup. I had that need for a while but it's much less important for me now. Also, they just look so good.
