The lenses are the ones we had available when the photography was done. As @jonpais says, we try to be as agnostic as we can practically be and we often recommend Panasonic lenses and others to people at trade shows etc when they ask.

1.9x crop is the number I've seen thrown around the most.

Or an indication that the AF is so horribly bad you'll be using MF permanently hence the clutch focus of the Olympus lenses makes them far more appropriate than the Panasonic ones.
Where is the emoticon for "Of course I'm kidding about the AF so keep your drawers on but its worth bearing in mind this feature if you are choosing between Olympus and Panasonic lenses at similar focal lengths if you intend to do a lot of manual focus on this camera" ?

180 degrees is the same as 1/50th at 25fps. It's the industry standard for unobtrusive motion so I don't know what he's talking about exactly. Might come down to personal preference for him.

No, the comment I am talking about was in response to B&H updating their release date. I'm also expecting second of September at the earliest though, to be honest.

I've got a good feeling about this.

    Edge sharpness.
First we should look at the imaging chain. Is there an OLPF ? The absence of one will mean a sharper edge but the increased chance of false colour moire.
Sharpness settings in camera menus aren’t compare-able I would have thought camera to camera.
Seems like if edge sharpness is what’s being examined then you’re really talking about “detail” and “coring”.
These are both setting that are in video encoded products but are not in BMDs camera video processing (except for the broadcast cameras)
These are post applied video processing of signals that tries to improve edge sharpness.  Some cameras allow the user to adjust these settings.  Some bake them in without any user adjustment.
