    On a complete tangent.....

Go motorised for under $50 (including some strips of lino which you'll need outdoors!).

Fits in your pocket and honestly with a small camera it is far better than it has a right to be for the price.

Thanks for this, just purchased from Amazon :)

To be honest, there'll be a version for that too as its just a remap exercise.

Bit trickier in terms of getting one that has the right combination of switches, pots and faders and also that is a) readily available (these things drop on and off the market) b) a reasonable price and c) compact.

That's great to hear.  I already have the same as you a Novation Launchcontrol (cheap, especially second hand) and Hercules DJ controller (great if I can map the focus to the jog wheel).

Thanks for your efforts on this :)

I'm currently running everything on a Pi so thats what runs my software that actually communicates by wifi to the camera.

By doing it this way I'm then able to utilise different off the shelf hardware to be the user interface.

In this instance the midi controller is plugged into the USB port of the Pi and I then catch and scale its messages as the input to my software.

Thanks for your reply.  I also have a Pi so looking forward to when you give the information on this, great work :)

What do you reffer as non standard?

I tried all my form, all your form, and many many combination that i can´t remember. (i´m on G80, not Gx80)

But as i read, G80 answers are identical and react the same way.

I I get to work as non-standar mov_25p_150mbps and mov_25p_200mbps , and even with the camera working as expected (blank info, etc) my files in this mode are corrupted.

I meant the bitrates that are not the standard ones on your camera.  I'll have a play with the mov settings tomorrow, thanks :)

  5. I have tried to get some higher rate video modes on the GX80 ("mp4ed") and although the camera does respond with the OK message that they are set it defaults to the standard 24p 4K as @BTM_Pix had said earlier.  If others want to try and dig around some more I have included my HTML file I have been using that has all the MP4 movie options as a drop down list for GX80 NTSC,

I'll keep hunting in the meantime :)
