Think of the ultra for Apsc lenses and the xl for full frame. The 18-35 sigma won’t vignette on the Ultra and the GH5. If you don’t use apsc lenses with a gh5. You probably won’t need the ultra. It really depends on the crop factor of you camera.

Panasonic G85.

Can’t wait to see it. The trailer was awesome!

I think I paid $27 each for Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk, and Shape of Water.

Thanks for the replies, hope they keep coming.
Very different films but if you had to pick a winner based only on image quality (whatever that means to you), which of the 3 would it be?
Toss up, between Blade Runner and Shape, but I would go with Shape, it is just beautiful.

Yes, Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049 and Shape of Water.

Works fine on my Nikon 50mm with a 52mm thread.

Looks like the Moon Dog Labs lens.

Valhalla Rising is one of my all time favorite films. I am also a big fan of Drive, Only God Forgives as well. Thanks for sharing.

Jon, ETC mode is only available in 1080 correct?

I use the Rokinon 7.5 for ultra wide. The 12mm setting on my 12 to 60 is pretty wide.

Thanks Luke!

Sorry to be simple, but what is the process for the use of the dual Native ISO? Do I need to do anything or when I select 2500 or more it just does something internally to the camera?
Luke, I wondered about the grading as your sneaked images the robot seemed to pop more. -

Luke, when do we get to see the finished Sci-Fi Robot short you shot with the GH5S? The low light test footage is crazy clean. No post clean up,(noise reduction) correct?

Well, that one is the no.1 milestone right there, thank you for pointing out!
The films title is Hard to be a God from 2013, not the rather conventional 1989 version. That film is a beast!
Cool, I will check that one out. Never heard of it.

I have been wanting to work on an in camera black and white setup ever since seeing The Eyes of my Mother. I just loved the movie and the Look. One of my favorite movies of the last couple of years.
I am also a fan of A girl walks home alone at night. From Eyes of my Mother:
Here are some screen caps from A Girl Walk Home Alone at Night. (Shot on anamorphic)
I picked up some colored filters commonly used with black and white film and I also have some Tiffen diffusion: Black Pro Mist, Black Satin and Satin. I hadn't thought about using then together. I know the GH5 has "filters" you can turn on can look at those as well.

I use the 50mm 1.8D as the taking lens with my Slr Magic 1.33 40 anamorphot and the xl speed booster. No issues.

yes it works flawlessly with full frame lenses. Cropped lenses show vignetting and sensor shift causes distortion during ibs
Thank you. I have a few crop lenses like the sigma 18-35 and Tokina 11-16.
