  2. Thanks guys, you are too kind!!! I only wish It was more sharp, but that is not the lens is the codec H264 from my canon. I am going to try to record in raw mode with magic lantern , the only thing is that the max resolution is 1728x 972 for only 6 seconds or lower to get more seconds. How do I go about editing afterward with that resolution to squeeze? Thank you again

  5. Good evining, forgive my stupid question, I am new to the anamorphic world, would you please help me out please? I am trying to squeeze my first video which I have recorded in raw with magic lantern, the max resolution I can achieve with my canon 60D is 1728x972 16:9 . How should I go about it? I am using an iscomorphot 8 1.5x with an helios 44 58mm. I am using AE as software , how do I achieve that 2.65:1 ratio? By now what I did is scaling down the footage by 67% on vertical axis and on the composition settings I have put width 1728 and hight 650. Am I doing right? Or I am missing out something? Or should I record 1920x1080 to have the proper cinemascope ratio? I thank you very much in advance.

  8. Thanks!!!!! Then I have to wait for Alan from Red Stan. Anyone else in Europe? What about the narrow clamps from VID ATLANTIC?
  9. what about this? for the Iscomorphot 8 1.5x The F-adapter connects eyepieces of various optical devices (microscopes, monoculars, spotting scopes) where the outside diameter of the respective eyepiece ranges from 24mm (0.94") to 38mm (1.50"). We have also a large version of the F-adapter - 37mm (1.45") to 55mm (2.16") The F-adapter can be screwed directly onto the lens/adapter tube with 52mm filter thread, or any other using appropriate stepping rings

Could anyone illustrates me or give me all the info about it. I am going to use it with a canon 60d jupiter 9 85mm , canon 50mm 1.8 and also have a canon 17-55mm. Any advises will be really appreciated. I have seen many video from youtube and vimeo , but they have't really satisfied me. Is it a worth anamorphic lens? Thank you in advance
