muzzle flash yes but not that flashy any how WTF what is a aluminum falcon muzzle flash is fine not the flash on the snow and ground its like taking a flash photo

all around good job but one point guns dont make that big of a flash mostly non at all specially in bright day light. I have some exp with guns/military what i would do is have bullet penetrate the body skull and hit the snow and see the impact in the snow. But still awesome job

VS2 is it sdi or hdmi

I really dont want to spend 500 i am just looking for focusing zoom in zoom out and framing and specially when shooting anamorphic. I think vs is good enough for me but it comes with so many options but no sdi only hdmi but 10 dollars ebay sdi to hdmi converter takes care of that i just know if you loose resolution when using hdmi to sdi

Black magic pocket shoots raw and ProRes . I shoot no budget music video like no money at all and it was awesome to work in ProRes. this small camera is amazing specially with metabone speedbooster. If you are serious about raw dynamic range and color grading this camera is way to go. Just my 2 cents. Here is that music video with no budget done in 6h

Hi guys looking to buy Aputure V-Screen 2 that i will use with BMCC since this monitor is HDM and using a converter box since BM does not have hdm would there be any issues with resolution. I am not looking for pro and color accuracy just anamorphic viewing or cropping and focusing. Wondering if it will work in raw mode. Thanks

again tell me just for the sake of it how is BMMCCis better cam it has the best dynamic range and look of all of them except ursa . Place a speedboster on bmcc and you have s35 but any how i dont want camera war each to its own as they say or something like that PS you cant even find BMPCC for 600 on ebay

Lol Hi Ironfilm yes we did and MFT well its old body i guess but still shoots beautiful raw 2.5 raw images how many cams can do that? and lets not forget dynamic range in that price range? on top of that speed booster s35mm I will pay 1300 for the cam with SSD and cage. Hi guys thanks for reply quick question i am in the process of buying one from bay with ssd for 1300. If i buy used and have any issues like, flicker, banding that was reported. Will BM take back the camera for repair? even though i am not original owner. And should i be looking for late releases of camera instead of early first batch which was reported to have issues how does one check when it was released is there serial number check type of thing Thanks guy

Not trying to be an ass but i think you are misinformed but you probably know more about cameras then me. But after watching this short its confirm it to me that BMCC is much sharper then BMPCC in 2.5k will upscale to UHD really nice and downscalin to 1080 like this video look dam good. I been looking to get BMCC confirmed it for me it for me that Excellent and Proof that the BMCC 2.5k is more than enough camera for a capable filmmaker.

dont you think BMDCC is better. Shooting 2.5k Raw on a bigger sensor and then reducing down to 1080 gives you a much cleaner image than the Pocket camera's 16mm sensor shooting direct to 1080. The BMDCC's larger sensor also makes it easier to get shallow depth of field and bokeh. While looking at tons of review videos i can tell that BMCC is more sharp then BMPCC when shooting2.5k and down scaling to 1080. Just take a look at the roof shingles they are much sharper in BMCC 1080 then pocket and trees in pocket are really soft then BMCC. I am not a pro just what i see

I already have bmpcc with CY Lens to Micro Four Thirds Speed Booster its great camera but i am looking for something closer to s35 and bigger resolution since i am also doing some VFX and on my 2k budget this camera will do me good. I Only do personal controlled projects. I also have Yashica ML set of prime lenses full frame 2.8. I was looking at this review and this guy knows his stuff. And I love working with raw files color vfx ect. And under 2k i can get BMCC fully loaded with resolve on eBay or local not bad deal for great camera

Thanks Zak i have yahsica Ml 2.8 lenses they are full frame so basically my Contax Yashica Lens to Micro Four Thirds Speed Booster will work on MFT BMCC and not EF just to get this clear, i am buying BMCC tomorrow and was thinking do i need whole new speed booster specially made for BMCC or will my old one work just fine. And i can see big difference in pocket and BMCC with SB so much room Thanks Again Zak much appreciated dude
