Bolex 8/19/1.5x - getting rid of the back.

My Bolex arrived today, and it looks incredibly nice, but I'm having some trouble releasing (what I believe to be) the projection accessories in the back of the lens. They're attached to the rear threads, highlighted red on the picture below. I hope there's a smart solution, help! :)

Looks like a friction weld :)

 

1 OK, first remove the square section rod/sting using the retaining screw

 

2 Then have some penetrating oil ready on a dropper. WD40 will do

 

3 Next heat up the rear part near the knurled washer retaining nut using a hair dryer and then add a few drops of the oil and leave for an hour.

 

4 Try to remove the rear ring by hand force, wear leather gloves it helps.

 

5 If it is still stubborn repeat from 3
