jonpais Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I'll be returning to the States from Vietnam for the first time in almost nine years, and of course, I'll want to record my trip on my GH4. But I see that the carrier forbids carrying spare lithium batteries with check-in luggage. I will only be taking a small Lowepro camera backpack with my laptop and some warm clothing. dahlfors Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I flew from Hanoi to Europe just 2 weeks ago. With the check-in luggage I had a spare battery for my Nikon D800, and I also had a Sony NEX camera with its battery.No issues in security control.So, if you can pass the security checks at the airport with the batteries, I doubt you will have any trouble with the airline itself.
