I'm going to do some more thorough tests tomorrow but it seems that it's true that the L Mount Alliance may share a lens mount, but they don't all share their protocols as much as they might.

I don't need ultra-amazing AF, but there are times when I need it to work and it 'seems' at least, that Panasonic glass with Panasonic bodies is the way to go.

So back to my original plan and will await the announcement of the Panasonic 24, 35 and 50mm f1.8's and work with that set instead.

Maybe even 1 less body as I am actually quite impressed with the IBIS and it's only a total of less than 10 minutes I actually need a monopod for dual photo/video at the same time and that will save me the cost of one full body.

But the new 85 is looking good. But then I thought the Sigma 56 was...but I have done a little more testing before opening my gob this time 😉

Is that what you got instead of the Sigma 45mm, because of low stocks?

I just had a quick look at S5 availability from a few major UK retailers - most of them are saying 'in stock' (e.g. Wex is offering next-day delivery), so if I'd had an order with Jessops since September I think I'd be asking them some hard questions by now...

Yeah exactly. Since the end of the pre-order period ended, I’ve been checking every other retailer and they’ve consistently had stock while Jessops hasn’t received any at all. 
 

I’ve been in touch with both Jessops and Panasonic and both of them have just told me to wait, but I wonder if with the lockdown coming up I’ll just be entirely out of luck?

These were both shot on the S1H with the Ninja V in ProRes RAW (an update the S5's getting too).

So, perhaps I'm being stupid, but:

I do a lot of work with gels on lights balanced for daylight. If I use the daylight LUTs for these images, will the image look accurate to how an Arri would capture lights using those gels, or will colour accuracy be entirely wrong because I'm not just using unmodified daylight or tungsten lights?
