Normally i script everything, but with this film all the actors improvised....everything.........it was shot in just six hours........The best part is i only told the actor about the beginning.....the last part i surprised him just before we shot it........he was angry jjajjajajajaja

I thought this might be interesting, you've seen my work I shoot alone, no fancy equipment......me, GH5, three contax primes....and my cheap Newer shoulderrig when i never leave home without......i LOVE focus on the fly hence no electric leneses............i never use the LCD.....yuck!!! i want to see exactly what is in focus!! Here is a video, below is the tutorial, i hope it helps!!!!!!

Totally agree with this, I hate shooting stuff without an actual end goal i.e a short film, music video, whatever. I do a fair few modelling videos which is great fun for soooo many reasons. You can get models to shoot on various Facebook groups, TFCD, TFP or whatever who will work with you for free in exchange for some edited video or photos for their portfolio. Am shooting one tomorrow in fact....

Indeed...but I always take on board (constructive) criticism and appreciate everyone has different tastes. I took a risk on this wedding, which the couple were fully aware of and they are very happy with the result. That is all that matters to me. This forum is generally better than most in that the vast majority of people here make good points and appear to enjoy helping others. As understand it, and I may be wrong, f4 on m43 is f8 on full frame in terms of light gathering, therefore if you had an m43 and full frame camera, both set to f4 with the same shutter speed, the full frame cam would be brighter, no?

Wow, letting the camera control shutter? Tell me this is a joke. If you were at f4 in bright sunlight, you would have to have a shutter around 8000, on an M43 sensor. With respect, if you cant operate a variable ND and control your focus on the fly, why bother?

I can do the Hallmark style, that's easy - put everything in slow mo, add zhiyun crane, blend with Ed Sheeran, sprinkle in the odd drone shot because hey, it's like totally cool...season with microwave LUT cus...dem colus dough innit...........?
