    Sony a6300 4k

@Andrew Reid Dear Andrew, when to expect you review of the A6300, would love to hear your personal thoughts (especially on low-light)... Thank you!
  2. Ok, thank you. Have you tried it yourself... I wonder if it's more than a toy...
  3. I just wanted to bump this up... it looks like a good alternative to the Sigma / EMount adapter with remote follow focus... But since nobody answers it doesn't seem to stable/reliable?
  4. How do you guys and girls like this one, looks really exciting...
  5. Thanks for the detail JurijTurnsek!
  6. I know, but the Adapter costs 300€ in Europe... I was just wondering if native E-Mount (for this lens) is an option for Sigma (rumored) or if the Adapter will be the future and universal solution for all lenses anyway...
  7. As Sigma offers Mount Conversion I wonder if they support E-Mount Conversion with the 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM? Or have you heard of plans for a native E-Mount in the future? Sounds like a great potential option for the A6300...

Regarding Rolling Shutter - actually I like it in this video since it emphasizes the motion and scale of the city... Are there maybe examples where you find the RS a useful stylistic device or is it always something to be avoided?

How well does the focus placement work compared to the A6000?

Any recommendations for good wide-angle and low-light zoom lenses for this great APS-C Sony? The G-Masters are far too expensive for me... I quite liked my Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 on my old Canon...
  11. @Andrew Would you please upload an example of the 10bit codec? Would love to see how it performs in After Effects and Premiere... Thank you!
  12. One thing I wonder is the 10bit codec - how well this works in Premiere or After Effects? So far 10bit H264/MP4 is not that common but would be a wonderful addition for sure...
  13. I think the most exiting news is this: 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes - goodbye poorly compressed gradients...
  14. @maxmizer But the RX10 II is not listed in most online stores (like Amzn) in Germany, that's the strange part of it...
  15. Andrew, any news on the availability of the RX10 II in Germany? Really looking forward to your fully review, please be sure to talk a bit about low-light performance, the small sensor is the only weak spot for my usage profile...
  16. Would love to see some low light video from the RX10 M2 with higher ISOs... I'm currently thinking about getting the Panasonic G7(0) but this overall decent combination from Sony is very tempting...
  17. @IronFilm What focal reducer you would recommend with the Sony A5100? As I still need to make photos a BMPCC isn't the best option...
  18. Thank you for the recommendations! 5D II RAW looks great, but workflow doesn't... maybe ML will allows higher resolutions with the new Canon 760D. I'm waiting for final reviews on that one... Sony A7S would be the dream, but not for the moment... Overall I'm really pushing the limits of de-noising and with every Canon Rebel generation my hopes rise and fall... overall thanks again, I appreciate this blog and forum a lot!
  19. Here an example of my work, just to give you an idea: https://vimeo.com/78254212
  20. @SleepyWill Wouldn't make sense to use lights while a video projection (I meant art installations WITH projection, sorry), I really need to have on-site-light not changed... And noise/sharpness of the Canon isn't really convincing in low-light anymore... Regarding the Nikon D5300 - I remember Andrew liked this a lot, can you recommend a Canon 2 Nikon Adapter so I can use/share my lenses? It's really sad that the Canon 760D doesn't do video equal to the D5300, this would be perfect for me... Thank you all!
  21. I'm shooting mainy low light situations on very low-budget like my art installations or projections. But after many years with my Canon 550D + Tamron 17-50, 2.8 I look for a new camera with an excellent 1080P mode and - that's the important part - very good, flexible low-light lens for around 1000€ together (bridge cam would be ok). Sadly the Canon 760D video doesn't look much better and I had hopes that the LX100 would be a good companion, but it's too noisy in low light, so any recommendations would be very welcome. RX10 or FZ1000 low light footage wasn't too exciting as well, so please feel free to point me to something... Thank you!
