Hey guys, in between the next 2-3 days i´ll be a happy a7s + tokina 28-70 ageniuex version owner ( paid 1800€ in total ) So my question is what adapter do you use? Probably one of the best would be the novoflex with "iris control" but its damn expensive 170€. (more than i paid for the lens...) Or do you have good experience with cheaper ones, im worried about the weight of the tokina, it almost weight twice as much as the a7s. Suggestions are welcome

Ebay Germany Body + Kit around 1500€ New. almost every shop here the same price.

i got a Tamron 17mm 3.5 but the aperture wont work, does anyone know a shop in Germany that can repair those old lenses? I called a few but they just saying: what adaptal 2? never heard about it -.-

also is there a affordable wide angle zoom , lets say from 14 to 28 that matches the tokina 28-70.? Fullframe capabillity would be great..

Thanks alot for youre input guys especially Andy. Like a lot of other members you made me buy the Tokina 28-70. I auctioned it 5 mins ago fo 160€. Please tell it was the right Angeniuex version. Tokina AT-X 270 AF Pro 28-70 2.6-2.8, its the version with the very small sun hood. Cant wait for it edit: uploadet the picture :)

i had a shoot with the original 2.5k bmcc, great cinematic image.. love it... if i had the money i would buy the mini in a second... But remember the real cost for the ursa mini upgrade: 5k for the body minimum 1k for fast cf cards if you dont allready own them 100$ V mount plate 500$ Batteries 1.5k shoulderkit so youre in total around 8k... for a nebie thats an overkill Do you feel limited with your gh4? and if yes what is the limit.

i´ve send a mail to BM and asked whether its only uhd monitoring or 4k downscale recording too, that was the answer: Hi Christoph, Thanks for getting in touch. The information that is available about the video Assist at the moment indicates that it will only offer UHD monitoring, not recording. this may change between now and when the product gets released, however information is limited about this at the moment. more colour information, more bit depth, less compression, Prores instead of h.264. The Shogun is only interesting if you shoot much in 4k, if not wait for the Blackmagic Video Assist its 500$ instead of 1.5k. But if you dont know the benefits from the above list it wont help you improve your work.

Source: Mirrorless Rumors Apparently the reason why Samsung delayed the new firmware release for the NX1 is quite...surprising: A source who shared correct Samsung rumors in the past told me that Samsung has "rewritten" the NX1 code. I don't know how deep those changes are. We will likely see that new NX1 code with the next firmware update. Let's hope this means we can expect some great improvements!

Thanks for your advice guys My plan was to save the money for an a7s but is it worth double the price? 4k ability is nice but i cant afford a shogun or q7 in near future. I realy cant deside :/

i dealed the price down to 1k with 3 original batteries.... how does it compore to the a7s ? short of low light

addition: this would be my first "pro" camera and i would use it for music videos and maybe some shortfilm stuff

The Flycam 3000 cost 240$ I highly recommend you a glidecam 2000 HD second hand, you can get one at almost the same price. i never used a flycame but i got also a cheap one, balancing is a real pain......

are there any trustfull rumors for an a7s II annoucement this year ? i´m thinkng about to get the current a7s.
