I’m surprised that wasn’t Raw. It’s great to see how an external recorder with ProRes will deliver such great footage. Great option for a quicker 5D3 workflow.
Either way, in the end, the story is all that matters and you delivered Mike!!!

For this film I didn't actually use ML Raw! I was surprised too by the amount of detail in the image. I used my Atomos Ninja 2 to record prores HQ. I wanted to shoot raw on this one but I wasn't going to be able to finish it in time for halloween weekend if I did. We shot this 10 days before it came out. 
The whole thing was filmed using the 24-105 f4 kit lens.
No noise reduction in post.
Audio captured on Rode VideoMic Pro and a few sound effects from soundsnap.
The whole thing was shot at 1600 ISO. 

Mike, great job. I love how prolific you are. It’s truly inspiring. But more importantly, it was so well done. Great compositions. Amazing color! And really good example of 5D3 ML Raw in lowlight. Did you have to use any noise reduction in post? Also any BTS info... lenses used, audio, ISO, etc... would be greatly appreciated!!!

Dude those screengrabs look incredible. Excited to see it whatever it turns into. Glad you dug "Last Day of Summer"!

I did a 60p raw test recently and it completely failed. Every frame was pink and pixelated. I have no idea what I did wrong. If you figure it out please let me know how!

Yeah, I’ve described the 5D3 as a point and shoot cinema camera... especially since I have been shooting handheld with it with my Canon IS lenses. 
I’ve been working on a project since April. It was originally intended as a short film designed to get my feet wet with ML Raw, but then I’ve been getting such good footage, it has grown into something more. Here are a few screengrabs from it...





Since this project may just end up as an impromptu feature, I’m currently writing some micro short film scripts to shoot in between. I’m hoping to get 60p working and it will be the ultimate camera for my needs. 
Btw, I really enjoyed you Last Day of Summer short. You obviously have a firm grasp of cinema.

After my last film which was 20 minutes long and about 10 different locations, I wanted to get back to something more simple that focused on character rather than plot. Strangely, I just started watching some of your shorts on Vimeo a few days ago. Really nice work. As a new 5D3 ML Raw user, your work is definitely inspiring and makes me want to shoot more short films. In fact, that has been the biggest thing I’ve noticed since getting the 5D3... I just want to keep working on projects. I care a lot less about overthinking gear choices since I bought it.

If we could all pitch in a bit more about feedback on work and less on camera specs, a lot of people who actually take action, like yourself, would greatly benefit. Not that you need advice to create good, professional work - as you have done - just as a general discussion/ support to get creative juices flowing for next projects or moral support, idea generation etc.
To me that is a true community. Feedback, feedback, feedback, tech specs, more feedback, newb questions answered, feedback... Not that I have anything to add of use! But we should feel obliged to review the work of our peers if they ask for it from our own weird spectrum of experience.
Thinking more about this famous 'story' everyone keeps talking about. Here we have someone who has created a story and... no response.
Anyways, I digress...
Keep up the good work!
edit (additional stuff): I think most people are shy to give feedback because they don't want to come across as assholes, but then there is also a few who simply think anything done by anyone else is irrelevant to their life experience so they don't even bother to look. Both extremes are products of our anonymous age unfortunately. Again, not that I have anything useful to say, I just see this as a good opportunity to get others who DO have something useful to say, to say SOMETHING. Sorry if I politicised your post, I tend to do that:)

There is a great sense of tonality in this film, as you have been told already. I really enjoyed it! It feels like a good start to a bigger journey that I would happily tag along for the ride. In addition, it is a great testament to the narrative possibilities of the mk3 in the right hands.
As for feedback, I was looking for an arc or a twist that pays off on the suggested relationship between the crumpled receipt (or popcorn?... it wasn't clear) and the texts. The theme is not that clear as to what the situation is, is it a thriller, love story or drama? Shorts don't necessarily need 3 acts, but there usually is a payoff that brings it all together and lets us know what is actually going on on a 'global' scale in relation to these characters you have introduced. It doesn't (I think) need more shots or details, just maybe more subtext in the text messages, more descriptive cuts and a more committed playfulness with the true (?) macguffin of the earrings. Through the earrings you are telling us everything about these people, their relationship, desires, past and future.
The actor and direction (your skill) cannot really be faulted imo.
