I would definitely stick with the Blackmagic Pocket. Despite its drawbacks, it's a far more capable music video camera. The RX100 IV is nice, but it's going to give you a more broadcast, consumer camera look, which is not what most artists want in their videos. Mine usually prefer a more "personal" aesthetic with some character.

Thanks Andy. I returned the metabones bmcc and nikon 35mm dx 1.8 and bought the Mitakon Lens Turbo speed booster and a used nikon 28mm ais 2.8. Looking forward to using this on our next video project in a couple weeks!

Cool. Well, it seems to work fine then. Image looks good! So I guess to answer your earlier question, yes, the BMCC does work with the G6! :)
