This video is a pure goldmine of information regarding the proper use of Sony cameras and their features, but most of this can also apply to any other camera brand. I bow to the man for this kind of simple but thorough explanation of all the features, codecs, gamma curves, gamuts etc., when and how to use them, why not to use some of them in some scenarios...
I highly recommend watching this whole video, because even if some of you guys are already familiar with most of this stuff, I'm almost certain that you will get some new useful info.

Yea they beat Samsung and Fujifilm/Panasonic that seem to have these tech as well.  Let's see if these guys are the next Oculus Rift - out of nowhere and revolutionizing things. Teaming up with Sony is huge so it's not another digital bolex or Red One camera that has years of growing pains.   Thank you Internet.

I received the Pl mount Trump 58mm T2.2 last week (38mm coming soom).  It comes with the case and various aperture inserts for effects such as 1.5x 2x 3x anamorphic style bokeh, tints, shapes etc...Swapping these inserts is as simple as unthreading the rear optical cell (which is also customizable) and inserting the chosen aperture (all of which have a notch that easily aligns with a tab inside the lens).  
It has a 270 degree focus throw.  For reference: Rokinon and most other still lenses do not even have 180.(which makes finding accurate focus more of a challenge)

Easily converts from pl to ef via adapter.
As I haven't spent a lot of time with the lens yet, I can't comment on its look and how it compares to other lenses.  Check out Bob Gundu's work to get an idea of the look these lenses can create.  
I would also like to add that Rich asks for examples of your work so he can customize your lens to your style/taste.  He noticed I used the Anamorphot 1.33 and then made a custom recessed step down ring for me to mount the slr magic Anamorphot 1.33 on the Trump. (no charge!)  Great product and service! These lenses are truly a work of art.

I've seen the light.  Old camera cult leader (or prophet) Ed David opened my eyes and my wallet.  To the almighty F35.     Birthday parties and cat videos as 2008 Hollywood intended!  The image it makes is magical compared to my 1Dc and fs700 shooting raw to the same recorder.   Highlights, motion and the colors are very organic.  Balances nicely and similar in weight to the some of the Alexa models.

I tried this camera once when we had it as a b-cam on a shoot. The body is quite small and feels a bit plasticky so I didn't like it at all in that aspect. 
Can't really say much about the image since I didn't have a chance to play with the footage myself but based on the shooting experience (ergonomics and usability) with the camera I was not that impressed with it.
