I would plan on getting any lens I buy serviced. I've been reading about ultrascopes forever, and they're almost never for sale.

I was looking at that too... Looks like there are only two places in the world that have them available for rent. I've searched the web trying to find if there's anyone else who rents them? Anybody? Or footage available?

A lot of people are shooting 2x anamorphic onto EPIC or Scarlet's full sensor and extracting this finished aspect ratio.

If anyone is near Los Angeless, you should check out the Kubrick exhibit at LACMA. It was pretty amazing. Including his lens collection. I was ordered to step away from his Mitchell camera, because I was too close.
