I'm worried about 3x crop factor and the low light performance. If you want the Blackmagic Pocket Camera then you'll have to spend another $1000 for a decent wide and fast lens.  Voiglander Nokton.

Well , I'm a 7D owner and I don't know what to do, raw is so exciting, but 5D Mark III is an expensive camera, for some extra dollars I could buy a 4k Blackmagic camera.

7D version is already under development. Just wait a little longer ;)

The solution for higher resolutions <3K will be a CF - SSD interface. I won't be surprised if we see something like that in the near future.

Interesting. I'm starting to hate Canon just like I hate Sony. I'm expecting a new firmware for my 7D, maybe a new codec or a better resolution... I don't know, what about a REAL 1920 x 1080 resolution?. They need competitive cameras vs BlackMagic Pocket.

I didn't like the Ikonoskop, feels like a crappy Instagram filter on it.     To my eyes the BMCC looks fantastic, better flexibility in color grading.
