This one is softer than the 36 and very bulky. I'd get the Iscorama 36 for that price.
[/quote]Interesting. Do you have side by side example for that?
  2. It's quite difficult to find a sharp (and not so expensive) 1.5x anamorphic lens nowaday. I saw a 1.5x projection lens made by Isco on ebay for $600 two months ago. Maybe if you keep your eyes on ebay you might get it although they probably need to focus on both lens.
  3. $2700 is just too much for me for a field monitor. I'm happy with my Zacuto EVF Pro.

I've mentioned them about the 2x squeeze a few months ago they asked for more info and I sent them. They replied it might be included in the new version of their EVF.

I think cheaper monitor like Lilliput might have these options soon. I've emailed them sometimes ago. They seemed to be interested in the feature as well since it requires only some firmware tweaks. Maybe, if we have enought voices they might add it sooner :)
  4. LOMO Anamorphic in OCT19 mount is much better than the OCT18. It has single body unlike those OCT18 that has two parts (the anamorphic front and the spherical back).

About breathing, I don't have same focal length to test so I can't tell the different of both design.

Most OCT18 could be used on a mirror less only. The OCT19 sometime can be used on non-mirror less as well but most it has to be the roundfront version not the squarefront one.

For $500-$2000 = Get squarefront anamorphic in OCT18 mount
For $2000-$4000 = Get squarefront anamorphic in OCT19 or PL mount
and then if you have like $4000-$10000 you can go for roundfront anamorphic in OCT19 or PL mount.
