Example A: you hit the quote button but decide you don't want to quote the person and just want to respond. But everytime you try to respond the quote now appears and you can't just make a reply. The forum keeps adding the quote. Can you turn this off? Example B is you do want to quote someone but you hit the backspace button before replying, because the cursor is too low, and the cursor ends up in the quote box. At that point it is simply impossible to contstruct a reply as far as I can tell. Nothing you do can get the cursor back underneath the quote. Is there anyway to turn off some of the automated stuff that seems unique to this forum? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dahlfors Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 @Andrew Reid might be able to disable the features. I've had that issue where it's impossible to enter anything in the text field as well. I can't recall exactly what I did - but the issue is that the forum uses a client-side javascript which is buggy. Since it's client-side, I was able to fix the issue by using the browser inspector in Chrome (I do web development, so I could easily pinpoint the issue).
