To assess the current performance of the 1DX II in 2023, I conducted this test. Camera: Canon EOS-1D X Mark II Lens: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 I Recording format: Motion JPEG Recording resolution: 4K DCI Export format: DNxHR 444 Export resolution: 8K DCI Colour profile: Landscape FPS: 24 Notes: I should have reduced sharpness in the Landscape Color Profile, for some reason it adds too much digital sharpening to the footage.
