Hey Everyone,

I know this sounds pretty specific, but I think it's a very common situation for docs, events, b-roll, etc. You're out running around shooting handheld, don't have much time to be changing lenses, often encountering fairly low light, need to AF quickly, need at least some type of stabilization without having to lug around a monopod, tripod, or gimbal.

I've tested 3 lenses so far, haven't settled yet, and am starting to get decision fatigue. What are your "go-to" lenses in this situation? Why?

Instead of everyone posting tons of comments in this thread, I created a Google Sheet (link below).

Please don't change or delete any existing info from others. Just add a new line with your answers, even if you're repeating a lens already posted.

ADD YOUR ANSWERS HERE!!!!!!!

I hope this is helpful for everyone. If I need to clarify anything, just let me know.

Thanks,

James
