GH5 with shogun inferno de-sqeeze issue

Hi guys,

having an issue with the hdmi output from my gh5 to into my new atomos. Its my first time using an external recording solution. Using SLR magic anamorphic lenses if thats important to anyone.

I have the GH5 set to the 4k anamorphic setting. I have all hdmi down convert settings off. Im getting the 4:3 squeezed image onto the atomos.  I turn on the de-squeeze image setting on the atomos and this works, but the image image looks slightly scaled down (See image). I've seen people do this with they're gh5s and it doesn't seem to scale down for them, and when I record it records as seen on image below. I'm guessing its an issue from my gh5 but really looking for some help here. I have a shoot in a few days and am hoping to try out all this new gear on it.

Any help and advice would be appreciated

I have a different issue than yours...I use a Shogun...and I can't select between 8bit and 10 bit...I have a feeling it's due to the complex menu system and some menu setting upstream of the HDMI rec output. Your issue may well be the same...the problem is most use the camera without an external recorder, so they never see these issues....I doubt it's an issue with the camera.
