Anyone recognize this old brass anamorphic lens?

Small unknown maker vintage brass anamorphic lens. No markings on this lens at all, not a thing. 2.5" at its shortest, front barrel is 1-13/16" OD.

While we are familiar with anamorphic lenses we have never run across this one. Has an anamorphic element in the front and what appears be a weaker anamorphic element in the rear inner barrel. Front barrel rotates around rear barrel and moves in and out with rotation. Rear inner barrel rotates inside the rear outer barrel and has fine 31mm threads. We are guessing the three barrels are supposed to make a single lens but right now the two outer barrels will come apart.
