Hi EosHD buddies,

After many weeks of just being a reader at Eoshd, I am finally here :)
I was looking for infos regarding HDSLRs for video.
Now convinced about buying the GH2 (or GH3 ?)
This is going to be my first ever HD camera and lenses. So there is a hell lot of things to learn (and I might ask stupid questions here :P)

Now I am seeing an offer for the GH2 at a shop nearby:

GH2 (body only) = 780$ CAD
With 14-140mm lens = 1300$ CAD

That is 520$ for the above lens

But I can get a 20mm F1.7 pancake for 490$CAD
or a Leica Summilux 25mm F1.4 for 620$ CAD

If I can buy only one lens along with the body, which one do you think I should go for?
As a beginner, I will be mostly spending on learning how to take decent shots and editing AVCHD etc.
At the same time, I would like to have a lens which I can keep it for the long term as a fine tool in my collection.

Reading everywhere, I am feeling like going for the Summilux. What do you guys think?

The Leica 25mm.

The zoom has a overall far worse feel in terms of image quality, because it is poor in low light and less capable of depth of field. The varying focal length gives you a lack of 'visual focus' when out on a shoot, you end up concentrating more on the shots with the prime.
