I like the elegance of the first one, the second one is a bit more stealth as it doesn't tie you into a rail system while the last one appeals on both the stealth and the cost option.

Think I might go for 1 and 3.

I'll be trying this first. It is like the nice FS100 battery, lasts for hours but very compact and can screw onto the base or a cage.

They do it for the BMCC as well as DSLRs. They also do a BMCC mounting plate for V-lock batteries.

I like the look of that.

I'm such a mingebag though, I'll no doubt end up stuffing the cheapo battery I put in as option 3 in a Maplin project box and adding tripod mounting ;)
