Led by the newspaper columnist fired from the Times for making quotes up from his own godfather, who then went on to fabricate stories about the EU at the Telegraph that seeded Brexit and has somehow ended up being the actual Prime Minister.

As for Kelvin Mackenzie, this clip where he gets a taste of his own medicine from another journalist after the real "truth" of his role in the despicable lies told about the Hillsborough disaster and stood behind for 20 years were fully exposed tells you all you need to know about him.
The ongoing collusion between the UK government and Murdoch is very well illustrated in this chart from the Press Gazette in February showing meeting with government ministers by publication.

Yeah it is as if they thought, "well it comes like this so must be reviewed like this". What does he think the quarter inch thread is for? A beer holder? It takes about 10 seconds to attach the official Sigma grip. The box format is about the modular flexibility and they barely touch on it.
Would have been easy for Sigma just to do yet-another-clone of a Sony A7. Like Nikon are.
Props for having the guts and imagination to step outside the box.
Just shows up these YouTubers for how uncreative they are as artists that they can't even be bothered to attach a wooden hand grip.

A lot of them are not even photographers.
Canadian guy in the DPReview video, forget his name, goes on about the EVF making it hard to grip. So add a grip then!
It's got 4 or 5 grips - I can list them off top of my head!! I have 3 different grips myself for the Fp and attach them at will.
Yet he... Chris or something... Is complaining that it's hard to hold a square box with no grip when you have a big EVF attached to the other side.
    Not a photographer.

It depends on the stiffness of the lens but although the motor has a USB power input so can be powered from 5v it can actually take up to 14.8v which improves its torque to help this situation.
Tilta make a P-Tap to USB cable to enable you to do this and the extra power increases the torque from 0.65N-m to 1.00N-m.

NeuroJitsu got a reaction from Rivhop in Sony A7C - harms the camera industry
I'm a fan of the micro four thirds format, and the access it provides to lots of glass.  Personally, I'm waiting to see what the GH6 looks like before deciding where I go next from my GH4.  Frankly, the GH4 has all the capability I need aside from a bit more dynamic range at times, and better low light capability.  A GH5S might be my next step, rather than the GH6 - but I probably won't be able to resist all the new bells and whistles...

I'd be more inclined to look at the Sigma FP than this new Sony camera, and be forced to change all my glass.  Lately, I've been finding I'm even enjoying my old BMCC 2.5k and Micro cameras, shooting in lower resolution raw that looks lovely and is a pleasure to work with in post.  My work is not seen on big screens, but on a computer, so as you say the MP race is just irrelevant to me.
I used to work in the telecoms industry in the early 2000s before the iPhone spoiled the party for the incumbent phone manufacturers.  Remember how big Nokia used to be then?  I think the camera market is crying out for a step forward in usability, which is what the iPhone did for the phone market.  What Apple have done for creatives is what I think Blackmagic have set out to do for film-makers, and I think they illustrate very well the importance of improving (through innovation) the end to end workflow, and especially software.
I'm now more interested in post production software innovation, like Cameralabs AI product for colour grading, than chasing more resolution.  That's something that will make a real impact, day-to-day, on my creative output, productivity and frankly enjoyment - and if the manufarurers improve these things, the industry will find ways to expand.
I've no doubt you're right that some more camera manufacturers will fall by the wayside.  I hope Panasonic is not one of them, as I think they've done a fantastic job of bringing innovation to market in packages that are designed in a way that puts function first and respects customer choice.  I'm encouraged by Sigma's direction and quality of their products.  And of course Blackmagic.  And then you have Z-cam, DJI and other Chinese brands that have both pushed prices down and produced excellent products.  And even though I'm as astonished at Canon's arrogance as you are (ie throttling the performance of their expensive R5), they do still make fantastic cinema cameras.  So the industry direction overally is not looking so bad IMHO.
