Agreed. I was so close to pulling the trigger on a 1DC. I love the camera, it creates beautiful images, but there are definitely users who have had that hot pixel issue and I just don't want to risk the headaches of going through that without warranty. Not only that but the 1DC is still missing a lot of common video features despite being labeled a "cinema camera". If I didn't have a C200, I would probably consider one though, despite the flaws. Because I have the C200 I want to have a B-Cam that I can easily use with a  Glidecam / Ronin S that has good autofocus. I'm going to use 5D Mark IV until Canon releases the 1DX Mark III or the next "pro" Canon R Mirrorless body.

Getting excited! I bought my 5D Mark IV knowing Magic Lantern might not ever be released for it (although I was always wishing). I still love this camera either way but I'm really hoping this comes to fruition, the 5D Mark IV would become an absolute beast. 

Imagine the power of the Canon 5D Mark III w/ Magic Lantern but with the DPAF of the Mark IV. I really hope Magic Lantern for the Mark IV happens, the camera would be too good. Not counting on it though...

I wish there was a way to disable OIS on the iPhone 7 and onwards. Until that happens, I don't think the iPhone is a good match with the Osmo Mobile.

The Ebrahim Saadawi scam thread was one of the most entertaining things I've ever read on the internet. Sad it never got resolved (afaik).
